Hi everyone,

We are Katelyn and Elizabeth, and we are two enthusiastic and motivated future Social Studies teachers. We have created this blog to tell you all about our Social Studies Philosophy which describes the kind of Social Studies teachers we aspire to be. Throughout the blog we have answered a number of questions that reveal a little bit about us as educators and our teaching pedagogy. We have explored our Social Studies philosophy using the "Connecting the Pieces" figure you see below and will take you through our ideas and viewpoints using the grade three Social Studies curriculum.
